I LOVE to fish and every chance I get, I go. There's just something about sitting on the side of a bank (or in a boat) dropping a line in the water, and then not caring whether you catch anything or not! LOL! We haven't been fishing in a while but hope to do so soon since the weather is so pretty and not scorching hot yet.
This is a rubber stamp from JRL Design that someone had given me last year.and I colored this little girl with Prisma pencils. The sentiment is from CTMH. The brads.....I was going to add some little fishing spinners down there - but am bound and determined to get rid of some of these big brads I have! I think I have every color of the rainbow - and way too many!
A fun card and a very lazy Friday around here! Hope everyone has a great weekend and thanks for stopping by.............
Lynn
Gorgeous card Lynn, I like the image, the colours and the spotty paper.

ReplyDeleteCute Lynn! Love this sweet little image... I've been thinking about dragging out my badly neglected pencils for awhile now and seeing how you've coloured this little gal up, I think I will do it soon.

ReplyDeleteGreat card and your coloring with the pencils is fabulous!! I like the brads too, they kind of echo the dots in your paper. Hopefully you will get to go fishing soon!

What a lovely bright card Lynn and I love the brads!
ReplyDeleteCan I go along? Can I? Can I? Pleeeeeease. Fishing always reminds me of my dad because he used to take me with him when I was a girl. What special times those were! I'm sure I looked just like the stamp, with the floppy straw hat and overalls. Perfect coloring, Lynn, and the design is wonderful. :-D You've triggered some delightful memories for me today. Thanks.
ReplyDeleteI'm glad you can go fishing again! This card is too stinkin' cute with the hook hanging down from the letter "h!" Great coloring, super fun card! Have a great weekend!
ReplyDeleteDarling card- love the coloring and the brads! I grew up with a river in my back yard- literally- we had a big yard and there were a couple of hills down to the river- we called them the river bank....loved to spend lazy days fishing back then! There is always a thrill of a catch and the fun of reeling them in to see how big and what kind you catch-hope when you get a chance to go, you get really lucky and catch alot of fish! Do you cook the fish you catch???
ReplyDeleteOh is she ever cute and I love the striking contrast with the red and white, wow! Great card Lynn :)
