Birthday Card for a Friend

You don't usually see a card from me unless it has some type of critter on it or is a little humorous.  Fooled you today though!  I can't seem to make those gorgeous cards you see with all the flowers, etc. on them, but hey, it doesn't stop me from trying - and yes, this really is a flower!

So, for Brenda's (Friends Craftin' With Friends) birthday yesterday I made this card.  Such a sweet lady that I've enjoyed getting to know through blogland.  The flower and sentiment are from Friendship Blooms and Spring Flowers (Simon Says Stamp).  The framework is a die from Pretty Pink Posh.  Hope Brenda had a wonderful birthday!

    A stunning card Lynn..love the flower and colouring and a gorgeous card design..I find these cards very hard to do especially the perfectly placed sequins..

    A beautiful card for a most beautiful person's birthday. NOt sure why you think you can't do flowers, etc, because this one is just stellar. You've got the lightest touches with the coloring. NOt sure if this is Zigs or copics, but it's pretty. Love the scalloped stitched frame bordering this, and it's just stunning. Good job!!! TFS & HUgs
