To You and Yours


No it's not snowing just yet - in fact, we're still having 100 plus temperatures!!! To cool things off a bit around here I thought I'd get a little snowy feeling in the air.

The layout for this is from Diva Coffee Break Designs - such a fun sketch! Of course, I just HAD to use some Baja Breeze on it. I've been hoarding it for so long and now I don't have to anymore, but still do!!! Go figure. I stamped this image (To You and Yours from SU) with Baja Breeze ink and SU markers. To complete this snowy/"wintery" feel, I added some glitter to the top of the house and the little snow swirls. The snowflake was made using a MS punch and then I added a little pearl in the center.

  6. Beautiful card! I love the colour combination; the baja breeze with the white does have a nice, crisp wintry feel to it. The punched borders are fabulous, and your snowflake with the little pearl is perfect.

  7. You outdid yourself on this one, it is beautiful! Love the paper and the little snowflake, not to mention the image with bling. :) Did it cool things down at your place, we were 96 today.

  19. I really like how you colored your scene and the addition of the sparkly "snow". I too hoard the retired colors which is silly for me because then I end up never using them and there was no point stocking up on them in the first place.
