Cowboy Christmas

This is a "first" for me - first time I've ever used a Kitchen Sink Stamp. I have to admit, they're fantastic! And I'm already getting up my "wish list" for more. I saw some cards made with this image on Lynn's blog. Let me tell you - she has the most fabulous creations not only with the Kitchen Sink stamps, but other images as well. If you have a minute go check out her blog. After seeing her cards with this image, I knew I had to have it. I'll be making several of these for Christmas cards this year - and probably in years to come.

If you check out KSS you'll note that some of the images are two layer, three layer, etc....Since this was the first time using one and not knowing if I could do it or not, of course I just HAD to pick out an image that was FIVE LAYERS!!! Whoa! But, I think it came out pretty good for a "first" attempt.

I used some Soft Suede, Very Vanilla, and Cherry Cobbler - oh and some Holly Jolly DP. As far as stamping the images - I used five different shades of brown....or maybe it was three or four, with a couple "stamped off". I was just glad I got them lined up correctly!

This will be entered in the Stamp Man challenge (Christmas), Digi Doodle Shops Best (masculine), and Pixie Dust Studio (masculine).

Thanks for stopping by.................
Lynn

  1. This is gorgeous Lynn! The red around the white makes the boots the focal point & gives it the right amount of jazziness. It is perfect!
