Belli Challenge #140

It's time again for another challenge over at Creative Belli blog!  Our challenge for the next two weeks is themed Three Shapes.  Be sure and head on over to the Belli blog and check out all the wonderful creations by the Design Team.  Remember, in keeping with the spirit of the Belli challenge, use your old and forgotten embellishments.  Enter your creation and who knows, you could be our next Guest Designer.

For some reason this was a very hard challenge for me!!  I mean, come on....three shapes!  Sounds easy enough but I kept coming up with a design for either two shapes or four shapes!  LOL!  I finally ended up with this card.  Three shapes - rectangle, heart, oval.

After completing my card, I decided to reverse the colors and see what happened.  I didn't drag out my sewing machine on this card though.  Pretty CAS but think they'll be great for OWH - no worry about difficult mailing of these.

Thanks for stopping by and be sure and check out the Belli Challenge.

  2. These are great Lynn and wow... unbelievable how reversing colours changes the whole card! I like them both but the white one is really striking and I love that textured paper. I am guessing the dotted paper is an embossing folder but is the big piece as well? I really like the texture on the large piece and will go on the hunt for a folder if that's what it is. Drop me a note & let me know.

  12. Well, if you were having trouble, you didn't show it at all. Love the shapes and the colors. You didn't mention the wonderful textures you added as well. Perfection as always.

  13. Worth all the thought Lynn - both versions are stunning although my favourite has to be the first with that stitching running down the centre.
