I'm still not real sure where I thought I was going with this card. I probably had something very creative in mind, but....well, you know! LOL! Anyway, after it was all said and done, I actually kind of like it. At least I like the ribbon and believe that's the first thing I grabbed when I started this.
Just a note - and a little different.
The last couple of days have just been crazy around here. On Sunday, all the company left (YES!) and then that night we had either a twister or tornado hit - blew a lot of shingles off the house and scattered limbs, lawn furniture, and anything else that wasn't nailed down, all over the country! Yesterday was spent cleaning up around here and my husband and a roofer got up on the roof and patched it since we were suppose to have more bad weather last night! And bad it was.....but thankfully, the brunt of it missed us. Several towns in the area had tornadoes and there was so much damage. My heart goes out to those that lost so much.
Thanks for stopping by...........
Lynn

ReplyDeleteLynn, What a great card. I, too, love that ribbon and it goes so well with the colors you stamped the image in. Very pretty. I'm so sorry to hear of your weather problems. We had the Hurricane last fall so I know what a pain all that can be, but at least you did not suffer a total house loss. My thoughts are with you and those that suffered even more.

ReplyDeleteSo glad to hear that you are OK! Hope your home wasn't too torn up! We are prone to this kind of weather as well and while we are aware of the 'tornado season', we never get used to taking cover and checking storm damage! Scary stuff!

OMG, Lynn...I am so sorry about all the bad weather down there!!! I'm sure glad you escaped the worst of it, however, fixing shingles and finding lawn furniture is no picnic, for sure!!! I was thinking about your since I knew that huge storm stretched from one end of TX to the other and I heard about the tornadoes. Sorry to hear you lost some shingles, but glad you are safe. We put stuff away, since I was home alone, hubby had a business trip, so I didn't have to worry. We had so much rain and the thunder and lightening bothered Lucky. Well, at least it helps the drought. Your card is great, love the Kraft with the image on the white card and your bow is perfeciton.
