A Deal of a Stash

This is my second post of the day!  To see the {Pin}spirational Challenge, please scroll down.

Shopping Our Stash starts a brand new challenge today - and our theme for the week is:   BEST DEAL EVER!   Create something using one of your best bargains/had to have/ it was on sale!   Be sure and tell us what you used and use something from your stash!  Head on over to the blog and be inspired by all the DT creations!

My best deal ever - the Bow-Easy!  A couple of years ago, I'd been seeing so much about this handy little tool on the internet.  The directions of Youtube made it look so easy so I figured I'd try!  Got it ordered and then tried to follow the directions on "how to use".  I FINALLY figured it out and it's so easy!  If you've followed my blog for a while you know I use a lot of ribbon/bows on my cards.  I'd be completely lost without this.   I also used a sentiment from SU that I don't think I've ever used, some unknown DP that I've had for a while and was gathering dust, and an Edgelit from SU that I've also had a while and never, ever used.    I embossed the sentiment in Egyptian Gold  and added some red rhinestones.

Thanks for stopping by...............and be sure and enter Shopping Our Stash challenge.

  2. Lovely and very rich looking. That Bow Easy certainly does work for you because I've noticed that you do make beautiful bows all the time. The Egyptian Gold looks beautiful especially with the red gems below it. I must think that take that one off the shelf more often. I really love that shade of gold but don't usually think to use it. Thanks for jogging my little brain. Have a super day, Lynn.

  6. OK, Lynn, now I know the secret to all your magnificent and perfect bows! I guess it's time to buy one of those. The old tool I have for making bows has never worked for me. I just can't master it. :-( Anyway, I love the white, red, gold combo and will have to use it this week. I know exactly which bargain I'll feature. :-D
