Winter Thank You

I'm B-A-C-K!!!!!  I actually survived all the company and had a great Christmas (AND, am still somewhat sane)!  It was very nice to get back in the craft room yesterday and see if I could remember how to create a card again!  LOL!

I noticed that several times over the last few days when things were so hectic around here -  kids running every which way, wrapping paper flying every direction, and me trying to get everyone fed and smiling a lot......I was busy designing cards in my mind!  Pretty scary to think that I love this craft that much!

Simple card but a good way to say "thank you" to someone for that special Christmas gift.  I used some SU DP scraps, Martha Stewart butterfly punch, and a sentiment from SU Watercolor Trio.

I'm really playing "catch up" around here after being away from the computer for so long.  I'll be by to visit everyone soon though!

Thanks for stopping by.............
Lynn

  1. Very nice card. Very cheery and the perfect papers for a Christmas thank you card. Love the different fonts on the sentiment. Glad you survived the holidays. Isn't it funny how and when our thoughts turn to card making? My problem is trying to remember those thoughts and creations when I do get back into the craft room. LOL. I wish you a very happy New Year, Lynn.

  7. Me too I think about it all the time ;) And yep, remembering it when you can do something about it is the hard part! It's like waking up from a dream and thinking 'dang, there was SOMETHING important I had to do, wasn't there?'

I think this hobby is called 'addition', and you are not alone. I often fall asleep thinking of a way to use an image I've colored. Happy New Year, and i'm glad you survived!
