Birthday Boy - Seize the Birthday


We have another challenge beginning today at Seize the Birthday!  Our sponsor is By Lori Designs who provided the images for us to use today.  Be sure and check out the blog to see all the wonderful inspiration from the DT and also our guest designer, Sherry Eckblad - and then come on over and play along.  We're using the same sketch that we had last week, but this week we need to see your masculine/guy cards.



I used some SU DP and little tag.  Added some twine and even did a little bit of stitching on this one.  Oh, and I paper pieced those jeans with some denim looking paper.

    love the idea of a "SEIZE THE BIRTHDAY" challenge, when things calm down a little bit i NEED TO get over there and play b.c of course we all need half a dozen of those cards every month!!! BRILLIANT!!! as is your card, actually, i love everything about it, especially the "real denim" jeans on that cuuuuuuuuute birthday boy!!! ♥♥♥

    Another cute card. That paper was so perfect for his jeans, and worked so well with the pillow ticking stripe background. Am loving the tag with the xstitch cake. Your little boy is neat popped up over the diecut too. Love this card. TFS

    Love, love, LOVE the denim jeans, Lynn! Great coloring and the striped paper is perfect for this wonderfully CAS design. I'll have to see if I can get something done this week since I still need to increase my stash of birthday cards, especially 'guy' cards.
