I made this card for a challenge at The Craft's Meow - last week! As usual, I'm a couple of days late to enter it, but thought I'd post it anyway. They had another sketch starting yesterday, so maybe I can get one made in time for that!
Not much to say about the card.....I scored a little around the edges, added the DP strips, made a double bow, and have the sentiment as the focal point. Ta-da......it's done!
Thanks for stopping by..........and have a great weekend.
Lynn
Beautiful, love the design and fab colours.xxx
ReplyDeleteIt is lovely as ever.
ReplyDeleteSorry have not been able to send you email... when I travel I get like this.
Yesterday, I met a lady from Texas and she works for Chevron. I was telling her about you and then we had nice conversation about movies and books.
Love,
M

It may be simple but it's fabulous! Love the double bow. Why do I never remember how great scoring looks? I always love it when I see but never remember to do it. :-D
ReplyDeleteSorry you didn't get to play in the challenge with such a sensational card! Very cheerful and gay!
ReplyDeleteDoesn't look all that 'simple' to me. I'd say Colorful, bright, cherry. The design papers really pop, and your S/b sentiment shows up wonderful againt your pretty red bow! TFS...good inspiration for me. (we got either a few flurries or icy sleet. Wasn't sure which it was. Didn't last long...thankfully). Hugs
ReplyDeleteDont feel bad, I have done this a few times myself :). But the card is gorgeous. Love all the white space.
