I'm back again with another Seize the Birthday challenge! We're using the same sketch as last week, but this time need to see your masculine cards. Come on over to the Seize the Birthday blog and show us your masculine creations. We're again sponsored by Uniko Studio who graciously provided myself and several others the Bright Butterflies stamp set. Be sure and stop by the blog to see all the inspiration from the DT.
This will be a birthday card for my brother who's an avid butterfly (and bird) watcher. I tried to use some male-ish type colors on this with the red, green, and yellow. They're mounted on a piece of Very Vanilla that's been embossed with the Wood Grain embossing folder. This was all placed on some older CTMH DP. I added a silver brad to each of the spots on the butterfly wings.
Thanks for stopping by.........and be sure and check out the Seize the Birthday challenge this week.
Lynn
Well, Lynn, you've succeeded once again in producing a fabulous "guy" card. I love that background paper and the woodgrain embossing is the perfect back drop for your butterflies. The brads add so much to the whole card. I'm home for the next two days(but have to clean and cook) so I will try to get over to the Seize the Birthday site and join in. Thanks for the inspiration. Enjoy your day.
