Motorcycles and Measles

I would say this is probably the ultimate clean and simple card - however, I've really been in a major slump lately so you're probably going to be seeing several CAS cards soon.

Ok, on to the title of this.......as you can see, we have a motorcycle here.  I'm not a fan of these things at all but they're probably no more dangerous than a vehicle.  I've only ridden a motorcycle one time in my life.  I think I did it because I was trying to impress the guy I was riding behind  - showing him I wasn't afraid of anything!  He was a hottie too - that helped matters a lot!!    Now, on to the measles........That's what I'm calling the background behind the image.  It's very speckled and reminds me of a major case of measles.  Maybe I should have stamped it in red!  Um....I'll have to come up with a different design for it and do that.   I found this stamp among my "stuff" and have no idea where it came from.  I have no doubt that my design paper breeds in my craft room, but now the stamps are starting to breed too!  SCARY!!!
Anyway, the image is from Hero Arts and sentiment from MFP.

I'll enter this in the Simon Says Stamps Challenge (travel or cityscapes).

Thanks for stopping by........and have a wonderful weekend!
Lynn

  2. Hello Lynn,
I am so pained to hear what happened in Boston and in the fertilizer plant in Texas and in MIT.
This card is SUPER. The world need CAS cards, trust me... it makes me feel uncluttered in my mind and lets my eyes breathe. Know what I mean. I hope things get better at your end.
I will keep you in my prayers.
    Much love,
    M

  4. Instead of CAS, I'm calling this card CAC (clean and classy). I did have to laugh at your title, so you earn an A++ for creative titles (grin). The black and white does make it classy looking, and I think it is really a lovely card.

  7. Gorgeous CAS card! I love the contrasting black and white! Dh is still mourning his bike being sold but moving onward to a healthier happy lifestyle - Miami is certainly no place to have a motorcycle!

  8. Love this card -- motorcycle, measles, and all, Lynn! BTW, the only thing I have found that works for keeping rubber stamps from breeding is moth balls. However, it doesn't keep paper from breeding! Sigh...

  24. Here's the thing, Lynn. I must be dotty because I am loving the background behind your awesome motorcycle that just showed up out of the fog! Just think of the yard sale you can have and the money you can make when you start selling all those bunny-like papers and stamps!! A perfectly CASlicious card!

  25. LOL! Stamps reproducing... I'll have to try that excuse next time the hubs questions all of my supplies!

I love your motorcycle card and your story! I was the opposite in my teen years. I loved motorcycles and didn't care as much about the appearance of the guy as long as there was a bike ride involved!
