Happy 4th Of July


Happy 4th of July.   Whether you celebrate or not, hope you have a great day!

This is an old SU stamp that I stamped up with markers after masking off the "fireworks" (by JRL Designs) in the background.  The fireworks were stamped in Bashful Blue and then I went over some of them with a gold glitter pen.  The little heart on the flag was popped up with dimensionals.

I'll enter this in the challenge at Simon Says Stamps Challenge (Patriotic).

    Beautiful!! Love the gold embossed fireworks in the background. Such a pretty flag image too. A lovely and dignified card for the 4th!

    Lovely card. Those SU stamps - especially the older ones - are so great. You did a fab job on the flag, and loved the sparkle on the fireworks. Really popped on your crisp white background. Hope your day was super & not too hot. 94 in the shade in Beantown area. Hot, hot. Fun though. TFS & Hugs

    What a fabulous patriotic card! Those fireworks exploding around the American flag depict a perfect picture of celebrating July 4th in America! I love the heart on the blue field of the flag! Great job, and I hope your extended holiday weekend is fun!

    I love this flag with the fireworks in the background! I tried that first with mine. Then I had to cut the flag out and stick it on the fireworks. I like yours much better!
