Ahoy Halloween
Digi Haven has another challenge beginning today and we'd love for you to join us! The theme is Black and Orange (predominately)- check out the blog for all the details on this challenge. Black and orange are definitely Halloween colors but of course it doesn't necessarily have to be a card for Halloween. Use your imagination and play along.
We're being sponsored by Broken Box Stock who provided us with the images and you'll find so many more cute images at their store. This one is a little trick or treat pirate....and yes, he's all decked out in orange and black. I'm not sure where I found the sentiment but it just seemed to go with the image.
I'll enter this in the challenges at Cards for Men (Halloween), Eureka Stamps (Halloween colors) and Kaboodle Doodles (Halloween colors).
Thanks for stopping by.............
Lynn

The cutest little pirate ever! Love his orange feather :)
ReplyDeleteGreat, fun card,Lynn. I like that the dots in the paper work off of the embossed dots. Terrific was to display your sentiment and your dashes really finish off your focal image nicely. Great guy card.
ReplyDeleteGorgeous card Lynn, I like the image and the design.

Lynn, this is absolutely a winner. I love that little pirate and so would my little grandsons. You know how they can get into pirates, Thomas the Train, and all the good, fun things when they are so little. I agree, that is the perfect sentiment for your card.

Lynn this is tooo cute, love the little pirate and fun feather! A great Halloween one ;)
ReplyDeleteMajorly adorable, Lynn! Love the black and orange against all that white. Takes me back to a Halloween when I was about 5 or 6 and desperately wanted to dress as a pirate (like my big brother) but my mom decided I needed to be something more feminine, like a ballerina. Sigh -- I still want to be a pirate. :-D
ReplyDeleteI'm remembering you didn't like Halloween cards. Well, it surely doesn't show that you don't like this theme. Cause this one is just darling. Love the sketch & your interpretation, and really great papers to go with your little pirate cutie. Great job. TFS & Hugs. Stay warm.

ReplyDeleteGreat card Lynn. Love this little pirate and all the dotted texture and papers you used. Cute!
ReplyDeleteAwesome laying, terrific coloring and fantastic design. You've brought this little pirate to life! He's perfect for Halloween. I love that you chose to mat the BOO on the bottom of the black circle ... it almost looks like an eclipse of the moon .. in reverse ... scary! Great job!! ♥ Denise
