I would love to say this is a one layer WONDER......however, going to just have to say it's a one layer something because when I finished I WONDERED what I was thinking! Yes, it's a one layer card. I don't like doing those, I'm not good at those, I end up using a ream of card stock, and don't really want to have anything to do with them. So, why did I make it?? No clue!
Anyway..........Yippee Skippee!!!
Thanks for stopping by......
Lynn
Brilliant! The cutest of image. I wonder why you wondered lol..Cause I LOve it.

What could you possibly not like about this card? I adore that little swinging frog with his big goggle eyes. The sentiment goes very well with your image and those sequins are just the right amount of bling. I think it is darling. I do, however know what you mean about one layer cards. Everyone else's looks great, but mine never seem to do it for me. Enjoy your holiday weekend.
ReplyDeleteWhat a fab image,love this.xxx
ReplyDeleteTotally hilarious!!! That swinging frog with the bugged-out eyes is hysterical! I don't know that I ever made a OLC, but this one is awesome and so funny!

It is a delight, Lynn!! I love that bug-eyed frowny face and fun sentiment!
ReplyDeleteYou are so funny Lynn! This card is amazing and so stinkin' cute!! I love the sentiment and now I wonder where you found such a fabulous sentiment from. And of course like everyone else, I'm wondering why you are wondering that this isn't a fabulous card and why you think you can't do one layer cards?! Cause you can!!! And you do them well!!! Hugs, Brenda
ReplyDeleteWell, whatever the reason for making it, I have a huge smile on my face! I love the googly eyes and heh expression on that frog's face is reason enough to make a card. Great one layer, Lynn. :-D
ReplyDeleteAw, what's not to like - it's toad-ally adorable! What a cute card!
ReplyDeleteROFLMBO ... this is hilarious. Love it. Ribbitt!!
ReplyDeleteI'm glad you did make it, Lynn, cause it's sooo cute!!!!! I just love your little flog with the googly eyes and the sentiment is sooo fun!!!!
ReplyDeleteI think your card came out great!! It's the perfect sentiment with the image and the googly eyes work perfectly.
ReplyDeleteI don't like one-layer cards, either. I feel they need to have more substance to them.
ReplyDeleteHOWEVER, this guy is adorable!!! Love him! You did well!
Well this one looks like it was made by a one layer queen...as it is wonderful! You are so brave...I am a hopeless stamper who never gets things straight or even. I freeze at the thought of being brave enough to try straight to card.
ReplyDeleteI think it is just right...just the right amount of bling (sequins) and coloured so nicely too.
Love the googly eyes...they made me smile!
You made it because it's cute and fun and you are awesome at making any kind of card!
ReplyDeleteI really love this! :)
ReplyDeleteYour froggy friend and sentiment seem to echo you own sentiment! hehehehehe
ReplyDeleteP.S. I agree. One layer cards and vintage chic...I fail at both. One - not enough stuff - the other I never know when to quit!!!
ReplyDeleteWhat are you talking about Lynn?? This is a fabulous CAS card! Love the image with the goggle eyes..
ReplyDeleteLove it! Love your story to go with it. I always have trouble with my marker going through to the back of the cardstock when I try one layer.
ReplyDeleteI love this one Lynn, loving those google eyes
ReplyDeleteKevin xx
Love that googly-eyed frog! I think you did a bang up job on this one layer card! Yippee Skippee!!!!
ReplyDeleteAww this is fantastic!!! Ha ha that frog I think I have to get him !!

not to be rude, missus, but you are SO WRONG to wonder!!! this is WONDER-ful, indeed! brilliantly skillful as stamping, totally impressive as C&S and the combo of the sentiment and the frog's expression would already be PRICELESS!!!!!! :) :) :)
ReplyDeleteAwww this is so adorable, the googly eyes create a very cute look on this frog :)
ReplyDeleteI want that sentiment! What a totally cute card! Super fun image, love the sequins and adore that sentiment.
ReplyDeleteIt may have driven you batty (battier?) but we love it! That FROG! The googly eyes are too awesome. And that sentiment - I need it. I say that!
ReplyDeleteWhat an adorable frog, and where did you get the eyes and those sequins!! You are the queen of embellishments I think!!
ReplyDeleteOK, I have to agree with Kelly's 'toad'ally adorable comment! I think your one layer wonder is wonderful and the sentiment goes so perfectly with your big eyed frog!
