Yep, you know me.......I LOVE those little dachshunds! Of course I love Rambo (our doxie) more but I actually love all of them! As soon as I saw this set of stamps from Newton's Nook I knew I HAD to have it. TOOOO cute and so much fun! There's several images of dachshunds and sentiments and each and every one of them are wonderful - and get ready because you'll be seeing me use this stamp set a lot!
This is a very clean and simple card but I wanted to let this little guy take center stage. Since the challenge at Inky Paws (Newton's Nook) is "sparkle", I used a piece of red glitter paper and also a piece of white glitter paper. The snowy background is from a Sheena Douglas embossing folder and the little Christmas tree was a die cut. He's colored with Copics and then I used the Wink of Stella clear pen on his sweater

ReplyDeleteSaw your cute card on the Inky Paws link up - LOVE all the pretty subtle sparkle you added to the panel with the cute doxie (I am a proud doxie (mix) Momma too and LOOOOOOVE this stamp set!) and the pretty red sparkly paper behind it. I love glittered paper but man, it is hard on my scissors and dies sometimes!
