No Snow

When you live in this part of Texas, you rarely see snow - and even when we do, it's only a dusting!   When we do see it around here the entire town shuts it's doors, school is cancelled, and traffic comes to a complete stand still (we also don't know how to drive in it)!   Since little Rambo (our doxie) has never seen snow I'm not sure what he'd think of something like that.  I just image it'd be a little chilly on his belly though!  He does love a nice little patch of green grass and sunny skies.

This cutie is one of the stamps from the Holiday Hounds set from Newton's Nook.  So many cute stamps in that set!   I marked through "the" in the sentiment and added a handwritten "no" and then sponged in the sky and added the die cut grass.

I'll enter this in the following challenges:  Inky Paws Challenge at Newton's Nook (Christmas) and  Addicted to Stamps and More (Holiday).

Thanks for stopping by!
Lynn

  2. This is a darling image and you've done it up nicely. Outstanding job on your sky work also. Neither of our babies like the snow or the rain at all but when Our Daisey (the one that is vertically challenged) goes out in the snow her legs and belly are all covered in snow and that is just if we have 1/2 inch. Most times she will put her nose down to sniff and then her face is covered also. It is so darn cute to see. I do hope you had a nice Thanksgiving and I'm wishing you a fun weekend.

  4. SOOO Cute Lynn!! I never thought about a doxie not knowing about snow because I'm so used to the idea! LOL!! It's soo funny to watch them jump up and down through the piles of snow!! We have to shovel a special "path" for her because it does get really cold on their bellies! :)

  24. Loving this well lit doxie, Lynn! What an adorable holiday design Texas style!

When we had the white Christmas of 2004, my pup loved running in the snow! We had about a foot on the ground for about 24 hours.

  26. Another cute Rambo Santa. Loved the sentiment, and your reconstruction of it. Just Perfect for a low-slung little doggie. Our grand-hounds wouldn't know what to do it in either. Three would be above it, but Chuck would be draggin', for sure. He has one little spot he can scramble up on the patio where they are let out for 'duty'. This is adorable. TFS & Hugs (oh yes, loving those great clouds too).
