Another quick card using a Newton's Nook stamp (Newton's Sick Day). I don't know about y'all but, as I've said before, I never have a get well type card on hand when I need it. There's so many cute images in this set I don't think I'll have an excuse not to have one now!
I found this red embossing paste at a store in the city that has since closed it's doors. Really a VERY bright red and so pretty - and goes on super smooth too! I used a stencil and embossed the red stripes at the bottom. The kitty nurse was mainly left white (with touches of gray). A sentiment added and a bit of twine. Except for waiting for the embossing paste to dry overnight, it was a really quick card.
I'll enter this in the Simon Says Stamp challenge (Wednesday) (Furry Friends).
Thanks for stopping by.........
Lynn

ReplyDeleteThis is so cute Lynn and I like the punny sentiment. Funny thing that, I never have get well cards either...
ReplyDeleteOK, you've inspired me to get and use some stencil paste, Lynn. I haven't seen it in the stores but then I haven't really been looking for it. I adore what you did with that bright red paste! Kitty is precious and the twine really 'ties' everything together. (Oh, come on -- you knew someone was going to say that -- it might as well be me. lol)
