....or is that suppose to have something to do with a rose? Now matter though because this is a peony! The stamp is from Sugar Pea Designs. I attempted - and notice I said attempted - to do the fancy no line coloring. What a deal that was. I got it stamped and then of course couldn't see what or where I'd stamped. It didn't turn out too bad but I'm not skilled at that no line business. The flower is colored with Prisma's and the leaves with Copics. The sentiment was embossed on Vellum and added.
I haven't been around the last few days but have been a little busy. Will get to visit everyone as soon as I can.
Thanks for stopping by..........

What a wonderful flower and you've colored it beautifully!! I love the dimension within the colors and of course that dsp looks perfect with it too! Great frame design and I'm growing fonder by the day of embossing sentiments on vellum. I must remember to give that a try one of these days! Gorgeous creation!!
ReplyDeleteLynn, this is stunning! So elegant and your coloring is superb. I love that you embossed your sentiment on vellum and added it across the image. Great background paper choice.
ReplyDeleteLynn this is amazing - love the results even if you were a bit confuddled during the process :-)

Rose...peony...does it really matter?! Your flower is gorgeous and the card is so pretty! Nothing like spring to put me in the mood to see flowers everywhere!
ReplyDeleteside note-Every time I see a peony I think about our oldest DD and our first dog. I had a huge section of peonies in our yard that the dog thought was a great place to relieve himself. For the longest time, DD called the flowers Pee On Me and we never corrected her because it was funny and quite accurate!
Beautifully colored, Lynn. The sentiment on vellum was a nice touch! I use to have a yard full of them, when I was first married. They are quite lovely, but draw lots of ants!
ReplyDeleteYour colouring is fabulous and so is this card. So beautiful!
ReplyDeleteYour Peony is just gorgeous Lynn and coloured beautifully..
