A Couple of Roses



Just a couple of roses today using a stamp from Sugar Pea Designs.  The first one, being yellow, would have to be the yellow rose of Texas I guess.  The second one, in red, is just a rose.  I'm still not sure why I tried distress ink behind this one but I did so it is what it is.  Looks a little dirty or something!  Yikes!

They were both colored with colored pencils and that's about all you can say about them I guess.

I followed the sketch at Case This Sketch so would like to enter that challenge.

    These are BOTH gorgeous designs Lynn! You've done a great job with the sketch and I really like the distress inking behind the bottom rose as it softens it up and makes it look really elegant! Nicely done!
