The strip sentiments are also from Simon Says Stamp and they're already done - you just cut them apart and pop on the card. Easy!

Happy Flowers
I probably went a little overboard using this stamp from Simon Says Stamp, but I was having fun! I bit the bullet and bought a set of watercolors from Altenew - and I'm in love! I don't know if I'm any better using watercolors but I'm trying and actually even liked the looks of these cards using them. Here's a couple of cards I've made so far. I'm still a work in progress........

Wow! I love your watercolor garden, Lynn! It looks like you have mastered the Altenew watercolors! Love that strip sentiment. I'm wondering if I can cut straight enough to use them. They sure would come in handy!

ReplyDeleteThis is a beautiful stamp and its perfect for watercoloring with its big open spaces. You did a fabulous job of getting variation in color in the petals and leaving hilights. That is probably the toughest aspect of watercolor. I can get variation, but sometimes the result is an unwanted bloom. Alas, when it comes to watercolor we are all works in progress regardless of your skill level! Beautiful job Lynn!!!
