I have a double-r here today using a stamp from Unity - just a vase with a flower in it but I thought it was a pretty stamp. Adding cards to the stash.
Both are "git 'er done" cards. On the first one I stamped the flower twice and popped up part of it to give it a little dimension. Also used some patterned paper that was sitting on my desk from another recent card I made. The second card - did a little stenciling behind the image, colored, stamped with a "thank you", and added some Nuvo drops.
Two simple cards but will be good for whenever I need them.
Thanks for stopping by ........and keep smiling!
Lynn
Love them both, Lynn. Wonderful how two cards using the same image can feel so different from each other. Great coloring on both of them and I really love how you used the stencil! I'm driving myself crazy trying to figure out how you accomplished it without the stencil part showing through the image; careful coloring around the image afterward? Masking? Hmmmmm...
ReplyDeleteThat's a great stamp and both are lovely, quick cards. The nice thing is they are going to work for any occasion, We should all have cards like that on hand.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful clean and crisp cards Lyn, love the vase and flower, the dimension and also the soft blue stenciling behind the second..beautiful.

Oh, what lovely cards! Great designs on each one! The vase image with flower is so pretty!
ReplyDeleteWhat fun cards, Lynn!! I love these!!
ReplyDeleteI find it interesting how the same image can look so different on each of these cards! The darker tones are fun with the dotted paper, and that stenciled version is so subtle and pretty! You did a great job on both!
ReplyDeleteYou did a fabulous job with both cards. I love the stamp you used and both cards are so different even using the same stamp on them.
ReplyDeleteI love both of these cards Lynn! The vase and flower are so pretty and make pretty cards to add to the stash. I love how you popped up the flower head on the first card and that pattern paper is perfect, so cheery! You second card is a CASalicious card! Love the simplicity of this one. So soft, so pretty, so CAS! Hugs, Brenda
ReplyDeleteTwo wonderful cards Lynn - love the second stencilled one in particular - great work!!
