Just a Card

Nothing fancy here - no pearls, lace, coloring, distressing or special techniques! Not even any embossing!! Yikes! Just a couple of SU punches, In Wilderness SU stamp set, and some CTMH papers. Oh, plus a little baker's twine, button, and dimensionals. But all in all, I really like it. Of course I love that fabulous image but also really like the patterned paper I used too. If you can't see it on the photo, click it and get a little larger version. I think this will make a nice card for a guy.

This is for the sketch challenge over at The Paper Players. If you haven't checked that out yet be sure and do so. So much inspiration from the DT and they already have so many pretty entries. I also found a challenge (new to me) over at Top Tip Tuesdays. The theme for this one is "nature inspired". Be sure and check out both of these wonderful challenges.

Thanks for stopping by.................

  1. Great card Lynn! I like the Baker's twine & how it matches the blue paper & it looks like some blue in your DP too. This is just perfect... you don't need any other embellishments, I like it the way it is.

  12. Lynn, the bakers twine and button are the perfect addition to this card. I, too, love this image! it really is a perfect guy card without trying too hard to be "masculine"! If you know what I mean. Your framing of the eagle is just perfect.
