The End Zone

Are you ready for some FOOTBALL!!!!  Yep....like it or not, it's going to be here in a couple of weeks and then all the guys (or at least a lot of them) will be "tuned in" - and we'll be "tuned out"!  What is it about football anyway - I mean, they throw the ball, run the ball, kick the ball and the entire time they're all trying to knock each others brains out!  Kinda crazy, right.........Um......

But anyway, this is the Inspiration Challenge over at Dude Time Doodles and just look at those fun colors!  Head over there today and enter your project. Just make sure it has a Sporty Theme and is for a Dude too!  Who knows - you could be named the Top Blog or one of the Top Three.

This is Football Phil and a football image that you can find in Boni's store.  I made the football out of some textured paper and made it LARGE.  Phil was printed, colored, and then cut out to go on top of the football.  The sentiment is from TLC.  This will be a "table topper" and will sit on a table by the TV until January so every time hubby watches one of the games, he'll see that he's just wearing out his END ZONE!  It may not match the decor of the house - but he'll get the hint anyway!

I'll enter this in the challenges at Cards for Men (anything goes), and Sentimental Sundays (shaped cards).

    LOL!!!!!!!!!! I LOVE the sentiment!!! How funny! This could be said for my husband!!! You should see our couch on Sunday nights - the indentation in the cushions is ridiculous!!!

    I hope Football Phil gets to the endzone!!!

    OH, this is too funny, thanks for the giggles!!!! You really did such a great job on this one, with the football. I umm....watch football for the view ;) I actually love watching football and go into withdrawal when it ends.

    Ugh, football season is upon us....lol! Love this card, Lynn! The shape is so fun and I love that you cut out that little dude so perfectly. I'm still chuckling at that sentiment, too. :)

    Lol!! Love this! So True, so True.. 8-) Great card Lynn! The only football I am interested in is when the Steelers play.. My folks are from PA and I' have been a Steeler fan since birth.. lol.. But otherwise, I could take it or leave it.. lol! 8-)

    OK...I really need this! My DH and youngest daughter have been counting down for two weeks.I don't know if she really likes watching football or just having the time to be Daddy's girl (and yelling at the tv!)Good thing my oldest DD is crafty like me. I think we will be hanging out a lot this fall! Fabulous card and great use of the challenge!!!
