Frame it Up

The challenge over at Creative Belli begins today and lasts for the next two weeks.   Our theme is "Frames".  This can be a frame on your card, scrapbook page, or an actual frame as I did.  Be sure and check out all the creations from the DT to be inspired by so many different frames and find out all the details for the challenge.  In keeping with the spirit of the challenges at Creative Belli, we encourage you to use your old and forgotten embellishemnts.

Instead of going with a frame on a card, I used  a regular wooden picture frame that I've had close to forever.  My husband has been wanting me to get a picture of our little doxie (Rambo) framed and I thought this would be the perfect opportunity.  (Note, he did not ask for a framed picture of me - just Rambo!  I really know where I rate in this household!!!)  Since this little guy's name is Rambo I HAD to go with the camo paper.  I stamped some little paw prints around it and added the milk bone, (after spraying clear adhesive on it) twine, and his dog tag from last year.  I spelled out Rambo using chipboard that I sponged in Soft Suede.  I have no idea when the last time was that I used any chipboard and seem to have a ton of it.

I'll enter this in the challenge at Simon Says Stamp and Show (Anything but a Card).

Thanks for stopping by.........and be sure and check out the Creative Belli Challenge and submit your entry.

  10. This is so sweet and fun! I love the dog biscuit and Rambo's actual tag as embellishments! Your pup is so sweet too! I'm going to go along with Monica's comment that your DH has you in his heart, either that or he's sure that your beauty is so amazing that a frame wouldn't do you justice! :)

  11. OK, on picture and I've fallen in love with Rambo! Fabulous frame and the camo is perfect! ROFL Sorry, but I'm actually giggling just thinking of that name attached to a Doxie! I'm sure he's the fiercest warrier in the world but he looks way to sweet to be a Rambo. :-D Love the pawprints.
