A Field of Flowers

Hope everyone is having a great weekend!  I'll probably be pretty well worthless for the next few days - the Olympics started yesterday and I'm one of those that will watch any and all of it!   It's just amazing to watch some of the things these athletes can do.

I used Field of Flowers (SU) for my card today.  I know I ended up changing, revising, re-stamping, and everything else at least three or four times on this one - but finally got it like I wanted.  The flowers were stamped twice, cut out, and popped up on top of each other.  I also extended the stem so it would show under the punch I recently purchased.  I added a couple of butterflies, pearls, and embossing on the white background.

Thanks for stopping by..................
Lynn

  2. Good Morning creative one. This card really looks like a portion of someone's beautiful garden. You focal piece with the popped up flowers and the extended stems resembles a trellis against a nice white wall. Oh and I love that new punch. Beautiful card. Enjoy your weekend. I have to confess I don't get much done during Olympics either. Boy I'm in trouble today, Olympics and Nascar. What is a girl to do?

  7. I really love that lattice punch, Lynn! Fantastic ribbon and bow. Lovely in pink and white. I'm recording all the Olympics at this point because grading papers and final exams is taking all my time this weekend. It'll take me forever to watch it all so I'll be skimming for the events I really like. Have a great weekend. Oh, yeah, I finally ordered that Square Lattice folder! :-D
