Something New

The challenge at Shopping Our Stash is themed - Use Something New - Something you had to have but have not used as yet!   I think we all have stuff in our stash like this - you know, one of those things you couldn't live without....and then never did anything with it!  Be sure and check out all the inspiration from the DT and see what they used that was "new" too!


I used a Repeat Impressions image - these little snowmen are just way too cute all lined up like that.  They make me so happy and glad that Christmas is right around the corner!  I also used some ric-rack on here that had been growing mold in my stash....did a little embossing, added some glitter, punched out some snowflakes, added bling, and the card was completed!

    This is cute! Great image and those snowflakes are so cute with the jewel in them. Ric-rack... who knew it would make such a great embellishment? You know, that is one thing I don't have any of....

    These penguins are just the cutest, Lynn! The rick rac, embossing, bit of polka dot paper and snowflakes are just perfect for showcasing them!

    We are having an extremely muggy day here so Hubby has the a/c cranking so I can really appreciate these little guys with their hats and ears muffs. Love the red and white combo. All around fun card, Lynn.

    I just love all those hats the penguins are wearing and it almost works to cool me off! (almost) LOL

    In my opinion, there's nothing cuter than penguins on a winter theme card and these little guys are perfect! Love the polka dot paper with the Swiss Dot embossing and rick rack. :-D
