Weight and Age

Hope no one is offended by this.......

I always thought that when a person got older, they got skinny - you know, kinda shriveled up and all that.  Well, as I get a little older I find that's not the case - and it seems like everyone around me is packing on the pounds.  For a female, it's probably due to sitting around all day long either playing on the computer or in the craft room attempting to be creative!  For the men ---- probably due to TV, just plain laziness, or because they all think they can do what they did 30 years ago, but then when they find out they can't, they just get depressed and eat!  LOL!

The image I used was a freebie from Marlene (remember funny Marlene - oh I miss her!).   Anyway, here's the card - inside and out!

Thanks for stopping by...............and remember to KEEP SMILING!
Lynn

  7. Hee, hee! This is so true of me, Lynn, though my DH seems to be shriveling up and those pounds are landing on me! Maybe it won't hurt so much if I fall! Padding can be good. Love the layout and the colors on this card as well as the fun image and sentiment. Have a fun weekend.

  9. Love this!!!! Love the plaid boxers and the paper piercing, something I forget all the time. You are so right, I seem to have some extra padding as does my hubby and he so knows he can't play baseball like he did 10 years ago. Have a great weekend.

  11. I actually read an article that said if you were a little heavy during middle age, you would actually be healthier in old age....I hope this is true since I am down right fat...lol! Hey I plan to live to be at least 96-100 so a little fat along the way might not hurt?

    Hugs,
