Flower Power for SOS

Good morning!!  Our challenge at Shopping Our Stash begins today and we want to see some FLOWER POWER!!  Use your handmade or 3-D flowers!  It can include stamped images but must also have at least one handmade or 3-D flower you bought on it.  Be SURE and use that stash!!

Again, I used one of the poinsettia's I picked up at the Dollar Store last year.  They were with the Christmas goodies and they're just the right size to put on a card.  The ribbon is some that was given to me a while back and I've never used it before....and the Merry Christmas sentiment is from a very old SU set.  I wanted to make this card look like a Christmas package.....um.....surely someone out there can see the resemblance!  But, no matter, since it made a quick and easy card for the holidays!

Head on over to the Shopping Our Stash challenge and submit your entry.

I'll be back in a few minutes with my {Pin}spirational Challenge post.

Thanks for stopping by........
Lynn

  2. I thought it looked like a Christmas present even before you said anything. Your poinsettias were a great find. Hope you can get more from the dollar store again this year.

  3. Fabulous, just gorgeous! I need to give this design a try... I have some huge flowers which I don't know what to do with(an Ebay purchase gone wrong) but this would be perfect. Love the red against the white - always so classy.

  12. Love this card, Lynn. Yes it does look like a package and one that I would hate to open because I would not want to destroy the packaging. We just got power back on 2 hours ago. It was out since Sunday, so I'm hoping to catch up with challenges tomorrow, this being one of them.

  20. This card is absolutely stunning to me. The simplicity of the red and white color scheme is a perfect "back drop" for that absolutely BEAUTIFUL poinsettia. I have ordered a poinsettia die, and as soon as it arrives, I'll be back using this gorgeous creation as my inspiration!
