I'm going to show you my card - inside and out - but whatever you do, please DO NOT scroll down to the inside until I can explain a little bit........
This is a new release image you can find in the DTD store called The Great Punkin. I'm not going to go into all the details on this card as it's self explanatory as you can see - but I will tell you about the sentiment.......
I got this cute image colored up and the design for the card all laid out and then tried to come up with a sentiment. Sometimes I have a pretty weird sense of humor (well, probably ALL the time) and all I could see after looking at this image was that all the pumpkins were resting peacefully in a pumpkin patch and just when the big one started to get himself settled in, he sat on a WHOOPIE CUSHION!!! LOL! That's where the mind started to get a little strange........so........here you go..............
Since not everyone may know what a Whoopie Cushion is, I just got down to the basic language here!

ReplyDeleteLynn, Your sentiment is perfect for this little "jumping pumpkin". Great papers and coloring as usual from you. The image looks great sitting on an angle like you have it. Your little inside pumpkin is adorable as well. I do love your sense of humor and it goes along so well with DTD images. Yes I remember the Whoopie Cushion very well. Once when taking a long trip with some relatives the driver, just about 15 minutes into the trip, slipped the cushion under himself without anyone noticing and activated it. His front seat accomplice made it worse by opening the window and teasing him. We all kept thinking "Whew - what a trip this is going to be". My kids were only 6 and 8 at the time and they still talk about that to this day. Enjoy your day and congrats on the call from DTD.
