Poppy Birthday

Another Funny Friday - that went to the wayside yesterday!  I was really going to try to get one done, but just didn't have the energy.  Such a slacker I am!  Hopefully I can get back on track with those soon!

I didn't get any crafty stuff as Christmas gifts this year (SO SAD),  so figured if I wanted it, I'd just get it myself!  LOL!  This pretty Prim Poppy (Memory Box) was one of those purchases.  I'd seen so many cards using this die so decided I just NEEDED one too!  The sentiment I used is from SU Watercolor Trio.  I also used the Beautiful Wings tiny butterfly in pink and an embossing frame from SU.  The ribbon isn't really new.....but guess you can say it is.  I've had it close to forever, but never used it - so it's new to me!

I'll enter this in the challenges at Simon Says Stamps (Black, White and a splash of color), and the challenge at Tuesday Throwdown (Shiny and New - use your new stuff).

Thanks for stopping by...........and hope everyone has a great weekend.
Lynn

  5. Stunning, Lynn! I love the poppies but mostly I love the way you used the ribbon for the pop of color and then added the tiny butterfly, picking up the pale pink in the ribbon. Sensational!

  12. This is just breathtaking! So beautiful! I am terrible, I buy what I want for Christmas, wrap it up and act surprised when I open it for Christmas. My husband always buys me something extra though. This year, a scrapbook place was going out of business and I bought 25 copic markers on sale!
