I used two different The Alley Way Stamp sets on this card - The Gang for the chihuahua, bowl, and dog house and Monster Mash for the sentiment that I stamped on the dog house. This is going to be a very special birthday card for my oldest granddaughter. She's always wanted a chihuahua but has never gotten one. Since I think her mom would just faint if I bought her one, I think the next best thing would be a card with this cute little pup on it. You just gotta love those precious chihuahuas. Too cute!! Even though you can't tell in the photo here, I even fluffed out this little guys ears - kinda like the real thing!
Now, on to what our sketch looks like...............Another great one to be sure!

Such a lovely monochromatic card. The chihuahua is sooooo cute. Nice checks and the ears DO look fluffed up. Very elegant ribbon and embossing.

Oh, I think this is my favorite sketch so far, and I really love that little pooch. Great card, Lynn! Super choice to use the pastel lavenders and the gingham dp is exactly right for this femmy card. Sorry I missed the last Seize the Birthday challenge for a guy card but I'm a bit under the weather with this nasty flu. :-(

ReplyDeleteWhat a precious card, and of course the colors are just perfect!! I had 2 chihuahuas and 1 doxie, and they all got along so well! I hope one day your DGD will have a chihuahua too - they're such great companions!
