Transportation

I can really think of better ways to get around (like maybe an air conditioned vehicle!!) but thought this stamp from Hero Arts was just too cute to not use on a Clean and Simple card.  Oh, and by the way.....in case your wondering - this bike really was a tiny bit before my time - not much, but a little!

The sentiment is from Memories (CTMH) and I used a couple of strips (snippets) of washi tape and a bit of twine.  The filigree brad was also added to give it a little pizzazz!

I'll enter this in the challenge at Simon Says Stamps Challenge (transport).

Short and sweet here today.  Have a few things going on but will try to get by everyone's blog later today or tomorrow.

Thanks for stopping by................
Lynn

  1. My son is in the historic tourist business, so I have seen many of these in use! They look like so much fun, but at my age I value my bones too much to give it a try!!

Love your bike rolling along your fun washi tape! Super cute card, Lynn!

  4. My husband and I owned a bicycle shop for several years and I bought him a classic penny-farthing bicycle which he kept in the window at the shop. He rode it a couple of times but they are difficult to master. I don't know how they stayed around as long as they did! Fab card, my friend. :-D

  7. I happy to say I can't remember this one either, but also not that much behind my time. LOL that filigree brad just works so perfectly and the washi tape goes so well. Great job, Lynn.

  22. Well, maybe this transportation was around in 'my' time. I remember a tricycle anyway. Don't think it had as big a wheel though! Loved the simplicity, clean lines & color on this one. Really likin' the washi tape you're using. Great card. Good for you with 3 so close together. You have been one craftin' lady. TFS & Hugs
