I can really think of better ways to get around (like maybe an air conditioned vehicle!!) but thought this stamp from Hero Arts was just too cute to not use on a Clean and Simple card. Oh, and by the way.....in case your wondering - this bike really was a tiny bit before my time - not much, but a little!
The sentiment is from Memories (CTMH) and I used a couple of strips (snippets) of washi tape and a bit of twine. The filigree brad was also added to give it a little pizzazz!
I'll enter this in the challenge at Simon Says Stamps Challenge (transport).

My son is in the historic tourist business, so I have seen many of these in use! They look like so much fun, but at my age I value my bones too much to give it a try!!

ReplyDeleteMy husband and I owned a bicycle shop for several years and I bought him a classic penny-farthing bicycle which he kept in the window at the shop. He rode it a couple of times but they are difficult to master. I don't know how they stayed around as long as they did! Fab card, my friend. :-D

Well, maybe this transportation was around in 'my' time. I remember a tricycle anyway. Don't think it had as big a wheel though! Loved the simplicity, clean lines & color on this one.
