Non-Bikini Beach Babe


Like the Great White Shark, this is one of those things you hope you never see at the beach! No bikini for this classy lady either - that'd be worse than seeing the shark!!!

The image is from Art Impressions and palm tree from Stampendous.  I'm still not sure why I added that starfish charm - except maybe it added to the "charm" of the card.  It looks a little lonesome stuck down there all by itself.   The images were colored with water colors and the "sand" type paper is from Paper Studio.

Don't you just love that brown purse she's carrying!  It either HAD to be black or brown and I picked brown to go with the sand and shore look.  Things need to match when you go to the beach, you know.  Even though she doesn't really look like me (my hair's much shorter), I probably would want the little rubber ducky life preserver along in case I had to get past my knees in the water..........and to think I used to teach swimming classes so many years ago!

    Adorable. And I thought the starfish looked cool with the theme. This is such a cutie of a card, and as always your EF looks pretty with the image done in an oval. Don't you just love that Paper Studio sand paper? I got a couple sheets of it too. Awesome job with the water coloring and you really made a nifty card. TFS

    Lynn, I love the way this scene encompasses the entire oval. You embossing is just right for this image as is the starfish charm. I could use all these items in my own back yard today with all the rain we are getting. Flood watch in the area, but I'm safe because I'm way us on a hill, Thank goodness. Enjoy your day.

    I'd be laughing so hard at this if I wasn't busy trying to figure out how you manage to find all these images of me! Too, too cute, Lynn. Love the "sand." I think the starfish is perfect all by himself in the corner. Looks like he's scurrying away as fast as his little arms will move him so he doesn't get squished by a flipper-footed beach babe. :-D

    lol - this is probably what my mom looks like going to the beach (but don't tell her I told you that!)

    You have the best images for Friday funnies!! She is quite the beach babe with her swim flippers and ducky floatie!! I think the starfish is there because she is the star of the beach!! Fabulous card!
