Ho, Ho, and Ho


Happy Ho, Ho, and Ho (or maybe that should be meow)!  I used a stamp set and die from Simon Says Stamp and DP from SU.  Colored up these little guys a bit and paper pieced the short dogs hat.  The "snow" embossing folder is from Sizzix and really not the same as the Kars one but it'll do in a crunch.  The bottom was cut and glittered up with some Rock Candy distress glitter - almost looks like dirty snow against that bright white!

I'll enter this in the challenge at Addicted to Clean and Simple (code word - Pet) and also in Pixie's Crafty Workshop (snippets).

    Lynn, this is soooo cute. I love your little guys and the paper piecing, too. Good that you gave them some snow. That is the folder I got, too, because of not being able to get the Kars. Looks as if we missed out on that one. :-)
    You used a wonderful sentiment, too.

    Love it!You manage to find the cutest critter images, and color them up so well. Loved your paper piecing on the little hat too. I'm liking this Sizzix EF too.     i love EVERY SINGLE THING about this... but my most favorite part... are the diagonal stripe strips (HA! try typing that fast!!!) they add sooooo much interest to this perfectly CAS card! ♥♥♥

    Love this card and I think my favourite thing on here is that dotted hat! I`ve been eyeing up those stamps and dies but haven`t bought any yet (I just might now though). That folder looks great... I looked all over for the Kars and nothing so I did buy this one.

    This card really caught my eye. I love that you are never afraid to use white backgrounds and "jazz" them up with pops of color and embossing techniques.
