Un-Suspended Christmas Tree

Before I start rattling on about my card.......a note about the ads popping up on my blog.  I haven't authorized these things and have no idea why they're there.  I apologize because I know how frustrating they can be.  I spent most of the last two days trying to fix this problem and finally decided that this baby is going to the computer hospital tomorrow to have someone smarter than I am try to figure it out.  I'm sure they'll be keeping it for several days and I'll go through withdrawal without a computer but that's just life I guess.  I have several cards scheduled for the remainder of the week so pop back in when you get a chance.

Now - the reason I say it's an "un-suspended" Christmas tree is because it really started out as one of those cute cards with the hole punched in the front of the card and the tree dangling.  There's no dangle to this one though.  Everything started out pretty good and then I totally lost concentration on what I was doing so it's just laying flat as a pancake!  There IS a hole cut in the center of the card though and the tree is popped up on dimensionals.  I also added some Tim Holtz Rock Candy distressed glitter to give it a shine.  One thing about it, it's going to be an easy mailer for the holidays! The stamp set I used is from Simon Says Stamp.  This is similar to one I saw on another blog - I'm in Haven - but of course hers suspended just perfect.

I'll enter this in the challenge at CAS-ual Friday - that's teaming up with Curtain Call  this week (inspiration photo) and Pixie's Crafty Workshop (snippets).

Thanks for stopping by............
Lynn

  3. Oh, I love this beautiful CAS card, suspended tree or not. Wonderful style.

I'm sorry you're having computer troubles. I haven't seen any ads but apparently others have. Hope they get it doctored soon and you get it back quicker than expected. How terrible to be without a computer...aren't we spoiled?? I am.

  4. If it suspended, it would probably twirl around so we couldn't see the beautiful tree in the picture! I always have trouble getting dangly things to hand front first! Love the glitter on the tree and that beautiful frame!

  24. I don't see any ads, Lynn, so hopefully you got it fixed already. Or maybe this is a scheduled post? At any rate, I hope your computer is all well soon.

Now, about this card. I have no idea what you are talking about. All I know is your card is a joy! The sparkly tree is so pretty in the bright red outlined circle and the sediment is perfect for it!

You should edit your post and also link your card to the Merry Monday challenge this week which is blinged up trees!

    Hugs, Darnell

I happen to love your non-suspended tree - and once again I'm glad to know that I'm not the only one who loses track of what I *meant* to be doing ;)
