Snow Buddies

It's time again for another challenge over at Digi Haven.  Our theme this go-round is Snow Buddies.  We're being sponsored by Dilly Beans, who also provided the DT with images.  Be sure and head over to our challenge at Digi Haven and enter our challenge for a chance to win a wonderful prize package from the sponsor.

I know some of you are sick of snow, snowmen, and the whole scene.....but this image was just just too cute not to use (and besides that it fit the challenge! LOL!).  I've used some strips of scrap paper  and embossed the pink panel (Pretty in Pink from SU) with a Cuttlebug embossing folder.  The image was colored in Copics and popped up over the DP.  You'll notice I said that pink was called Pretty in Pink.  In real life it really is pretty but no matter what I do I can't get pink to look like the shade of pink it's suppose to be in a photo.  One of those little quirks of life I guess.

I'm also going to enter this in the challenge at Pixie's Crafty Workshop (snippets).  It's been way too long since I entered over there.

Thanks for stopping by............and head on over to Digi Haven for our challenge.
Lynn

  1. I never get tired of snowman/ladies. This couple is adorable. I love the outfit of the little girls as well as the hat and scarf on the snowman. Your papers bring it all together so nicely. I really like your layout on this card. Enjoy your day. I think you are probably experiencing some colder than normal temps down there. It is zero here right now with windchill at -8. The kind of day you'd like to just wrap up in a blanket and stay indoors. Well enjoy your upcoming weekend. Stay warm.

  5. There was a time I wouldn't have considered pink on a winter card. But this year the cards done with pink and aqua have been among my favorites. Such a sweet card and I'm never sick of snowmen!

  6. Love it! I will never be sick of snowmen. And, I would really like some snow. I do know, though, plenty are sick of it all. I'm sick of cold. It is 8 degrees this morning, not to mention a 0 to -5 wind chill.
