Sprinkling Fairy Dust

This looks like me trying to get the house clean when company is coming!!!  It's probably just dust you see flying in the air though instead of fairy dust.

It's time for another challenge from Tuesday Throwdown and this time we have the theme of Winged Fairy Tales.  Our sponsor is Meljens who also supplied the images for this challenge.  Head on over to the challenge and check out all the rules and inspiration from the DT and then enter for your chance to win a wonderful prize package from Meljens.

I used some My Minds Eye patterned paper (that you'll be seeing once again on Thursday) and then colored the image with Copics. I also used the Wink of Stella Pen on her wings but it really doesn't show up in the picture.  The extra "fairy dust" is some pink Frantage.

Thanks for stopping by.........and check out the Tuesday Throwdown challenge!

  4. HAHA...that could be me, too. As a matter of fact, it was me yesterday putting away things in the kitchen as I thought someone was coming to check my microwave troubles. It was all for naught as they didn't get here. LOL

I love your sweet fairy and I have got to look for Frantage. It's such wonderful "stuff".

  9. Ka-UTE! This looks like me too, but not very often! I see some familiar bkground paper too..since I love the rose design, you know I have some of it. So pretty with your little airy-fairy and you are a dab hand with this frontage. It sure adds a lot of dimension to Miss Fairy & her dust too. Very pretty card. TFS & Hugs

  14. Beautiful card Lynn - I don't have dust - I have 'furniture protector', but it's not as pretty as your fairy dust.

  15. Oh she is SO cute! I wish I had her energy when it comes to cleaning! Oh heck let's be honest! I just wish I had her energy for anything! Nothing like a batch of company to start a cleaning frenzy. The dusting was a brilliant touch!
Your 'fairy dust' reminds me of one of my all time favorite movie: Bird Cage. Might have to watch that this weekend!

  30. This is pretty! Love that flowered paper... hmmmm, I've seen it before but I still like it! You tie the best bows too.
Now isn't that the cutest little fairy and I love how the Frantage does make it look like fairy dust.
hahhahah... I now have a mental picture of you dusting the house before the company arrives! Me... I tell everyone not to touch anything. If they don't make a mark in the dust, you can't tell it's dusty!
