Lots of Polka Dots!


If you don't like owls or polka dots you better skip right over this and go on to the next blog on your list!  It is what it is!

The cute little owls are from the Digi of the Month set over at Deedee's Digis!  You can get your set for a reduced price at the store and then play along in the monthly challenge, and you'll be sent a free one to use next month.  Then if you play along again next month you'll get another free image.  Can't beat a deal like that - plus they're all so cute and pretty!  You can find the challenge and store at Deedee's Digis!

I used the pre-colored version of these little guys.  The set also comes with the line drawings so you can color you own, and a bunch of cute sentiments and some of them are just right for Mother's Day that's coming up soon.  This was mounted and popped up on a piece of white cardstock and then placed on some wild polka dot paper from Stampin' Up.  I added  some black and white enamel dots and twine and then stamped a sentiment on here since I really couldn't decide where to put one of the cute sentiments that come with the set.  I may be back before the end of the month though and show you another card using the owls with one of their sentiments.

    Polka dots? I do LOVE polka dots and I think those owls are the cutest. I like that you stamped the sentiment on the dp, too. So you see, I adore your card. It's just cute as it gets.

    I love this polka dot paper and even have some. Every time I get it out to use it makes me so dizzy I put it up! I love it here and it's perfect with the cute owls! Love that bit of twine and the skewed panel!

    What a cute, cute card Lynn! I love that polka dot paper, so pretty and the color is fabulous. I also love the your cute owls. How fun you have a choice of pre colored or one you can color yourself. Pre colored makes for an fast and easy card I would image. These owls are adorable and would make a great mother's day card too, but I am loving your cute sentiment of "hugs". Love the enamel dots too! Hugs

    I'm really loving those big polka dots, both outside and in, Lynn! Great CAS, of course, but then you always do that so well. :-D I'm still trying to get this image colored up so I can get a card made. It's on my desk, right next to my ProMarkers and all I need now is to put my delicate (?) little butt in the chair and color!
