Spring Green

It's time again for another challenge at Digi Haven and our theme this go-round is Spring.  We're being sponsored by Beccy's Place who also provided the images for us to use.  Be sure and check out our challenge and enter for your chance to win a wonderful prize package from Beccy's Place.

Um......I'm not sure about the seasons down this way.  We seem to have gone from winter straight to summer and now back to spring!  It's getting a little confusing and you don't know whether to put or shorts or sweats right now.

I used an image from Beccy's Place and colored it with Prisma Pencils - no gamsol, mineral spirits or anything else.  It actually blended pretty good I think.  The sentiment is from MFP.  I used a SU embossing folder in the background and then added that bright green ribbon to match the leaves.

Thanks for stopping by.........and be sure and check out Digi Haven and enter our challenge.

  7. I love this one, Lynn. You did an outstanding job coloring this. The blending is perfect and with no assistance from mineral or spirits - you are GOOD girl. The embossed panel and your ribbon help to make the focal image really pop. Well I'm going to start my day with sweats and then change around need to shorts. We are having some very cool mornings and then it gets quite warm and muggy during the day. We will be having PM thunderstorms for the next week. I hope they get rid of all the pollen around here. Enjoy your day.

  9. Lynn, this is beautiful. The coloring looks super and you tied that ribbon so pretty.

I had to turn the heat on yesterday. We had a rain Wednesday and back to 60's yesterday. Ugh! Up to 90 next week....go figure. I just know I prefer the 90 degrees.

  10. This is so pretty! Love how you've colored the image and the bright green ribbon is the perfect compliment. The weather is crazy - our high yesterday was in the mid 50s and a couple days ago it was in the high 80s.

It seems like the weather is just weird everywhere - our spring is so late that the tulips are only just blooming now - they're not even open yet!
