Have a Relaxing Week

The end of summer is fast approaching.........well, not around here I don't think since it's still so hot.  But it really would be nice to get to the beach and build a sandcastle or two.  Since I'm not headed to the beach - and really don't like all that sand down my pants (LOL!)- I built one on a card!

I used the sketch from Sketch Saturday and will also enter this in their challenge.  It's a great sketch and one that I'll be using over and over.  I used a set from Lawn Fawn for the images and sentiment.  The sun die is from Lil Inker and the seahorse appeared my embellishment box.  One of these days I'm really going to figure out where all this stuff comes from.  Surely I couldn't be buying it all!  At least that's what I keep telling my husband!

Thanks for stopping by...............
Lynn

  13. I don't like sand on me either....This is Uber cute, and a much nicer sand castle than one you'd actually build of sand! It's bright & cheery, and I am so loving that stitched sun die. I'm still waiting on mine...should have been here on the 9th. Oh well. TFS & Hugs. Stay cool.

  19. Too cute! I'd rather see the sand this way too. Great sketch and card. (Maybe an embellishment fairy visits you during the night, leaving little presents :-).)

  20. I so wish we had some of your hot weather Lynn, we are rainy and dreary and cool!!! Only in the 70's as much of this summer has been. So I'm still waiting for summer, which isn't going to come. :-( Like you I love to visit the beach but am not fond of the sand part. lol I do however love your beachy card with the pail and sandcastle. You clouds look amazing and I love, love that little sea horse charm! Hugs, Brenda

  21. Oh, I wish my week was relaxed. I just seem to be getting more and more things on my To Do list and getting fewer of them done. I'm with you on sand in the pants. :-D Great card and I adore the seahorse, wherever he may have come from!
