To All The Mothers

First of all, I'd like to wish all the mothers a very happy Mother's Day!  Even if you're a mother to a four legged furry friend, spider, or kangaroo.....today is your day.  Hope it's a good day.

This is an image for the progressive challenge at From the Heart Stamps.  Sweet, right.....and cute too.  I love the mama and baby bird - or at least that's how I see it anyway.  Great card for Mother's Day!   Check out all the rules for this over at From the Heart.  They also have a weekly sketch challenge and since I followed the sketch, I'll also enter my card there.

The image is colored in Copics and I used some patterned paper from a SSS kit and from American Crafts.  The corner die is from Cherry Lynn Designs.

I'll not only enter this in the challenge at From The Heart (sketch),  Pixie's Crafty Workshop (snippets) Crafty Calendar (things with wings).

    This is so adorable, Lynn, and it's perfect for a Mother's Day card. I love those papers you chose! They remind me of calico prints and I wish I had them in fabric for quilting. Happy Mother's Day to you, too -- I hope Rambo and Sassy were good to you. :-D
