Birthday Pup

A sweet little pup from Newton's Nook that's all dressed for the birthday party.  He's from the stamp set Fetching Friendship with a birthday hat perched on his head.  The sentiments are from two different sets of Newton's Nooks stamps:  In Slow Motion and Newton's Summer Vacation.  The background was done with some SU ink and a Tim Holtz stencil.  A few sequins and some twine added for fun.

This is a card to be sent to a friend telling them happy birthday - but wish they were here so we could celebrate it together.

I'll enter this in the Inky Paws Challenge at Newton's Nook (Birthday).

    This is such a darling pup, Lynn. He reminds me of a dog we had when I was about 10 or so, right down to to the white chest and floppy ears! Love your stenciled background and twine. :-D
