A Lot of Bull

No, I won't give you any of my 'bull' today - but will show you the card I made this past weekend.  You really don't want to hear my 'bull' anyway I'm sure.  I guess Jim didn't either since he buried himself in golf and basketball on TV this weekend and gave me a chance to craft a little.

I haven't made a masculine card in so long and really don't mind making them at all.   I used one of the stamps from Mark's Finest Papers (Bold and Free)......a little patterned paper, sponging with Distress Inks, twine, and a few wooden stars - and the card was completed.  The image was colored with Copics.

I'll enter this in the challenge at Speedy Fox and Friends (Brown) and the Mod Squad Challenge (Animal).

Thanks for stopping by.......
Lynn

  7. Oh, Lynn, this is beautiful! I wish I could make a masculine card like this! I struggle with them! Brian ends up with a lot of pink cards haha! This year I want to make more for birthdays - I've got 3 brothers and two nephews after all! Awesome job! The bull is an unusual stamp - I don't have anything like this in my stash. Maybe that's my problem - it's hard to make the cats manly but I'm determined to do it haha! Glad you had some time for crafting!

  17. What a great masculine card Lynn! I love that image of the buffalo, you have colored him up so well. This image is so great for masculine cards too. I love the sentiment as well as the pattern paper you used and that double stitched oval. The twine adds to the masculine feel as well as those star, which look wooden to me. Hugs, Brenda

  28. No Bull! Fantastic work and design. Terrific copic coloring, and I like the way you've distressed the corners of the DP that forms the frame. It does indeed work great for a masculine card. Great sentiment to work with this image (and of course I'm loving the stitched oval too!) TFS & Hugs Oh yeah, just saw Carol's comment!Congrats on your win. Very well deserved!

  31. Fab guy card Lynn. I remember buying that stamp set because of a card you had done... I think it was of buffalo running or being chased. Anyway, my stamp set is still brand new. hahahhaha... I have a few of those.
