Birthday Bouquet

I think I've come pretty close to losing my mind completely now - and y'all probably think I have too.  I mean, what is this anyway..........TWO flower cards in a row!  Yikes!  Unheard of, right!  Not to worry though as I'm sure I'll be back to my old self before you know it - or even want it.

I pulled out his stamp the other day as I saw someone else use it and was reminded that I had that same one - and love it.  Got it all colored up and whacked out with the scissors and then was at a loss.  Of course!  Finally saw the challenge at CAS(e) This Sketch and knew that would work (so I'll enter this in their sketch challenge).  I think I placed the bouquet a little too high so added some sequins thinking  maybe it'd appear to "bring it down" some.  The only way to "bring it down" though was by moving it down..........

Anyway..........thanks for stopping by............
Lynn

  3. Flowers may not be the norm for you but you do them up beautifully, that's for sure. I adore this card and I was trying to work on a card drawing the eye to the corner and this one does the trick so I will be casing it - probably this afternoon while I'm snowed in. Right now we have a dusting on the ground but between 10-2 we will be getting tons of snow. Thanks for giving me a good idea from my next card. I love the sequins which are perfectly placed. Wishing you a good day.

  25. The fact that your humour is coming back is a good sign, Lynn. Lol.

Your card is so charming and the tulips look really lovely. I like the way they have been wrapped in newsprint like they did in old days when google did not speak so much about the side effects of using newsprint and such. Lol.

Very pretty card and so happy to see you blog,

    Monica

  27. Wow, I love this card Lynn!!! I have this stamp set too, but you use it better than I do. Of course I haven't used it in a while. lol But still, I love this sketch and the way your card came out! And no, I don't think your bouquet needs to come down at all! Love those sequins as well. Might have to case this one my friend! Hugs, Brenda
