Lots of Pink

If you don't like pink, you probably should have closed your eyes!

This is for Number 4 granddaughter (the youngest) who hopefully still likes pink.  They seem to change their favorite colors with the weather you know.  Even if she doesn't like pink, I imagine she'll like the "green" that's going inside.

And speaking of weather..........our high on Tuesday was 56 degrees - and the high on Thursday is going to be 90 degrees!  What in the world!  (That's your friendly weather report for the day)!

I used some patterned paper from Doodlebug, stitched circle from Lil Inkers, and frame die from Pretty Pink Posh.  To take center stage though is the Birthday Bash stamp set from Newton's Nook.

I'll enter this in the Inky Paws Challenge at Newton's Nook (sketch).

Thanks for stopping by.............

  2. Your granddaughter will love this card Lynn, even if her fave colour has changed. Cute layout on this card, very original and clever.
Oh man... just hearing about your temperatures makes me so envious. We had about 3" of snow last night... it always seems to snow on or just before Hallowe'en. I hate it when it snows this early because if it stays, it makes for such a long winter! Enjoy your weather!

  3. Oh my gosh, I just LOVE this pink birthday card! The image is beyond adorable and you've colored it so beautifully! I love the diagonal strip but I especially love this framed die! I've wanted it for eons and never knew who made it, so I'm writing it down now so I can find it when it's time to buy it! Our weather is the same on a different scale. Our temps went down into the 30s last night but they're going up into the 70s within the next day or two! It's madness!
Stay cool or warm (whichever applies) and have a great week ahead!

  11. Lynn, You always do the cutest things with stamps from Newton's Nook. I love all the pink on here and that rainbow paper you added is simply fabulous. Love your coloring, my friend!
I think Texas is getting the 90+ degree weather we had out here on the West Coast all last week and over the weekend. Yesterday and today we're in the high sixties to low seventies so if the weather patterns run true, you'll be back to cool weather before you know it. :-D

  14. Bet she still loves pink when it comes from Grandma (and ditto with the green inside). Love the design layout...like the way you've got the out-of-the-box die cutting on the kitty. Also loving that diagonal border treatment. It looks very snazzy with the pattern against the pink & white dots. Well done you! TFS & Hugs. We got warmish again, but s'posed to be cold by Wednesday again. Have a great weekend, and remember the time change.

LOL Im sure the green will make her like it all the better! We are having crazy weather too. Its been in the 90s here but then an occasional day in the 70s. Going to be a warm winter I think. 19. I love pink Lynn, so this card is perfect in every way to me! lol Yes, it is hard to keep up with a kids favorite color as they do change it all the time. lol Our weather has been fickle like yours with temps in the 70's for a day or two and then back down in the 40's. How can a body adjust I ask ya?!! Rain today and tomorrow but both days are warm. Then it is back to the 40's and some 50's. It can just stay in the 60's and 70's all winter for me! lol Hugs, Brenda

  20. Precious card, Lynn! These grands are growing so quickly! That is such a cute sketch, followed by those great stamps by Newton's Nook. I am sorry for the tragedy in TX, yesterday. Sending prayers.
