Happy Thanksgiving, Merry Christmas, Happy New Year, and yes.....Happy Valentine's Day too! I'm back.....at least for today.
I saw the Tuesday Morning Sketch Challenge last week and really liked it so figured I'm give it a whirl. I attempted a technique that Jennifer McGuire showed using alcohol inks and water for the background on this card. I don't have any alcohol inks so used some Copic refills. The hearts are from Stampin' Up.
What surprised me most of all was that I didn't turn my craft area into a pink, red, and blue room due to spilling the water everywhere. I also didn't end up looking like a pink Smurf either which was a plus.
I'll enter this in the Tuesday Morning Sketch challenge.
Thanks for stopping by............and I'll hopefully be back soon.
Lynn
This is just gorgeous, fab design.xxx

ReplyDeleteHappy everything Lynn..good to see you and love your inky background valentine card.I watch Jennifer spray water and always wonder how it only goes on the ink and not all over the walls where my spray goes..love the sentiment in black and white too..they really pop..
