A Bit of Penguin Poop

I've been around a long time and have seen a lot of things - but I've never in my life seen penguin poop......and probably never will either.  I seriously doubt if it comes in colors like this but who really knows unless you've seen it.   I mean, even going to the zoo, I don't go around looking at all the colors of poop.  The expression on this little guys face is saying he's a little surprised it came out in different colors but then again, maybe he's never closely examined his poop either!!!

I saw this stamp set from Whimsy Stamps a while back and after seeing the expressions on his face just knew I had to have it.  I added the rolling 'hill' and trees, sponged in some clouds, cut out the image and popped it up, and it's a done deal.  Quick and easy - and fun - birthday card.

Because I actually used snippets on this card and haven't been to Pixie's Crafty Workshop in a coons age I figured I'd take it over there and enter it in her challenge!

Thanks for stopping by...........
Lynn

  8. Oh Lynn - card first! It's adorable, so, so cute! I totally love this.

And it's just wonderful to see you back in the Snippets Playground! So much has happened it seems in your life, I hope you're fine - and most of all HAPPY!?

We've been on a roller coaster here - Dudley - the Havanese puppy (just over eight months old) is adorable and has turned life upside down really. He's a scamp but also the most lovely pup in the world (sorry Rambo!).

I just had a return of the dreaded gout after three whole years and it's taken two months to be mobile again. It seems to hit really hard when I get it but am on the list for a telephone consultation with my doc tomorrow - when I will insist on long term prevention meds. It's not perfect I know but this has been another nightmare for us and without Dudley (and Len) I really do not know if I could have coped!

You take care and I've thought about you loads recently going through this - and am so thrilled you returned to play!

    Hugs

Di xx and a woof from Dudley!

  18. I'm not going to stop chuckling about this for days, Lynn! I've never seen that penguin and that hysterical sediment and now I have to have it, too! That wide-eyed expression is the absolute best and I love his beer belly!! And BTW your clouds are fantastic! Did you use a stencil or just "roll" your sponge? They look more real than perfectly rounded ones. Enjoy your weekend! Hugs, Darnell
