Moldy Green Cheese Trees

I made two cards similar to this and then realized, well DUH!!!!!  That's cheese for the Christmas trees and should be the color of the cheese.  UGH!  Just think of them as being moldy cheese trees.   YES!

The stamp set is from Sunny Studio and I fell in love with it as soon as it was released.  There's just something about mice and Christmas......not sure what that something is, but I love it.  The "snowflakes" in the background are from a Lawn Fawn die and the sentiment from Taylored Expressions.

So, no matter - green cheese trees (trying saying that real fast a couple of times!!!!!) or cheesy looking trees, we still have a Christmas card.

I'll enter this in the challenge at Pixie's Crafty Workshop (snippets).

Thanks for stopping by.............
Lynn

  6. I too am a big fan of mice, but only on cards!! LOL This is adorable, and of course those mice used food coloring on their cheese trees to get into the Christmas spirit! I hate to see it coming, but those little snowflakes are heading our way in a few days.........tis the season I s'pose!

  9. OMGoodness Lynn! I would have done the same thing with the cheese trees!!! Let's just imagine that the mice saved up cheese all year to make the trees and of course it would be green by then, which is perfect to make mouse sized Christmas trees! I wonder if your Christmas mouse endearment is from "...not a creature was stirring, not even a mouse"? Regardless of the reason, this is just the cutest card ever! I especially love the earmuffs on the mouse up front! So stinkin' adorable!!!

  10. Hmm, mouldy green cheese trees may be ok when it's cold, but here in the Antipodes it may not be such a great idea :) Love your card Lynn, beautifully made as usual

  14. This is an adorable Christmas card Lynn! I am loving the moldy cheese trees. lol They should be moldy to be green. haha I think mice represent..."not a creature was stirring, not even a mouse". At least it does to me and so mice to me are part of Christmas. Love your little mice, Sunny Studio has lots of cool stamps. I love the way you did your sky too, perfect little snowflakes! 16. Well, duh, Lynn, I love it anyway! lol Precious mouse images. Are they fussy cut or are there matching dies? I tend to do a lot of fussy cutting but I avoid it when it means cutting out tiny areas like you have on these mice. If they are fussy cut, you did an incredible job of it!
