The Giraffe

Something a little different from me today.  I finally broke down and bought several Blue Knight stamps the other day.  Love them!!!  I kept seeing so many pretty cards with them so just had to jump in and get my feet wet too.  I love this one with the tree and giraffe.  It also comes with a pretty sentiment but since I was going to use it for a guys birthday card, I added a very old one from Simon Says Stamp instead.   I blended several of the oxide inks for the background and then stamped over that with a stencil with a walnut brown oxide .  I thought it gave the background sort of a giraffe-y look.

That's it folks.......a quick card.

Thanks for stopping by........
Lynn

  17. This is simply stunning, Lynn! I don't know which I love more- the background or the silhouette! I had never heard of Blue Knight so of course I had to run over and spend the last hour oohing and aahing over their images 😊 I love the richness of this card so much! I will have to find time to play with some of the silhouette images in my stash!
